Description
Amur Maple ‘Flame’ is a gorgeous cultivar of Amur Maple. It is a medium-sized tree that grows 15-18′ tall with an equal spread but can also be grown as a shrub. Named ‘Flame’ for a reason, the fall display of fiery reds, oranges, and gold make for a stunning show. While the bright red leaves are amazing so are the fruit as abundant showy scarlet samaras. Amur Maple ‘Flame’ is also loved for its adaptability, resistance to drought, and attractive green foliage in the summer months, that make it an excellent choice for hedges and privacy.
Landscaping: Does best in moist, well-drained soil and full sun.
