Description
A North American native that grows to a broad, large shrub to small tree which is winter-hardy, and thicket-forming. Edible fruit is used to make preserves and jellies, and can be eaten fresh. Flowers are white, forming in clusters.
Landscaping: Full to partial sun, shade tolerant. Prefers well-drained soils.
